Crochet Yurt Project
Here’s an interesting art and community project: creating a crochet yurt. Artist Kate Pokorny is in the process of fundraising to create a mini-mobile home crocheted out of 500 lbs. of New Hampshire wool. Ingenious and slightly wacky, right? Read more in these articles: the design and ideas site, Dornob, and also the piece by Brian Clark Howard on TheDailyGreen.com. You Tube movie here. Check out Pokorny’s blog or go straight here to donate money. There are only 16 days left to donate via Kickstarter. Get your own a mini yurt in return as a thank you in return!
